In 1995, while staying with a family in Kingston Jamaica, I made the most memorable image of my trip ("Math with Bottlecaps") one day visiting a Basic (or pre) school that the family operated on their property.

From Jamaica, I went on to Haiti, spending one day in the capitol of Port-au-Prince before staying a week with a family in the southern area of Fond-des-Blancs.
