Planning headshots for your team can be cumbersome—especially if you’re doing quite a few staff members (say more than 20). It can be a pain or it can run truly like a well oiled machine. We like to think that we can provide service like the latter.

Here’s how you can assist in making your team headshot photography session run super smooth.

First- use online scheduling. We can provide you with a custom link where we can have your staff schedule in short time increments—like every 5 to 8 minutes. Send the link to your staff and let them sign up at the best time slot for them. And don’t worry if you have a few staff that cannot make photo day. You can send them to the studio at their convenience—we’ll provide you with a link just for that.

If you are holding a larger corporate event or even convention getting great event photos is a must. We provide coverage for corporate events from a few hours to multiple day conventions. From one photographer to multiple we’ll make sure your event has the coverage you need.

But what if you want to go above and beyond for your event attendees and offer complimentary headshots—maybe at the event expo or other central location. We can provide a headshot station or multiple stations depending on the size of your event. Often we suggest that having a corporate sponsor for the headshot station helps the event host defray the cost of providing the headshots to attendees.

Company Matching Headshots

Matching headshots for a company across the board is important so that the website will look uniform. Whether we shoot it on location at your office or your staff comes to the studio we work to match the background. Often we will shoot on location but not everyone is there on photo day so they can arrange to swing by the studio at their convenience and we’ll photograph them with the same lighting setup and same background so they’ll all match uniformly.

We also do quite a few headshots for remote employees—those living in the Colorado Springs area but working for a company across the country. We will work with the company to make sure that the headshot matches those others in the company —often shooting on white for a more uniform look but we will also match other backgrounds or use a company supplied digital background.

If you have a business team then you know how important having a great team photo can be. But you probably also know the hassle it is getting all the team members together for the photo. The larger the team the bigger the scheduling nightmare. And what happens if you go to all that work then you add a new hire or a key team members leave the company. Uuuggh! Then you have to begin the process all over again.

That’s why we developed virtual team photos. In studio or on location we can easily solve your problem related to getting a great team photo. We photograph everyone individually and assemble in post production. Should a team member leave we can easily remove them from the group—and we have options so we can rearrange the members of the team so that the photograph is balanced.

Location Business Team Photos

We do a lot of business team photos in the studio—with 1,000 square feet of studio space there is plenty of room to bring in a team of up to 12 for headshots and team photos. This is done fairly quickly so the team doesn’t have to stand around long.

However sometimes it’s just not convenient or possible to get the group into the studio. Other times we do location group photos because our client wants to use the background of the business in the photograph. Either way we can accommodate you.

If you’d like on location photographs of your team we can bring the studio to you—we can easily set up in a boardroom or other area with a backdrop, lighting and more. Or goal is to make it easy for you.

Where do Team Headshots Take Place?

We do team headshots in studio or at the location (office) of your choice. For smaller teams (2-6 people) you could bring your team to the studio. This is great for partnerships, remote workers or other small teams. For medium to large sized businesses it’s easier for us to bring our portable studio to you.

How Long Does It Take?

Much depends on the look you are wanting. For smaller teams in studio we offer packages allowing for clothing changes for more looks. Otherwise for just a straight forward look allow 3-5 minutes per person in front for the camera. We can average around 20 people per hour give or take.

What’s the Best Way To Organize Team Members?

The more organized everyone is the quicker the session flows. If you have a super organized person planning this it will go more smoothly. We can send you a customized link for your staff to book their time slot online. They will get a reminder of the exact day and time of their “session”. We can provide a couple of options for selecting final images—either an on site selection station allowing your employees to choose their image following their time in front for the camera. Or we can send you an online gallery with 3-5 images per person and have your staff or a designated person make the selections.

We get asked a lot about taking photos of staff for companies.Depending on the number of staff and how you want to set it up we can make it convenient for you.

If you have a small team it might just be easier to schedule a time when you can all meet at the studio for a team photo. Just call us and we’ll find a time when you can all come to the studio.Or we can come to the location of your choice for this. If you schedule headshots at the same time the team portrait is at no additional cost.

Now if you have a very large team or staff and you want us to come on location we can bring our studio to your office or wherever you happen to be meeting with your team. Everyone who is there that day will get a headshot. We can also get team photos then as well—these are complimentary if we’re there doing headshots for your staff.
