Adding a headshot station at your conference or event can generate a buzz from attendees. A headshot for attendees is much better than any swag you could offer.
If you are thinking of adding a headshot station at your next event here are a few key things to consider.
Sponsorship
A headshot booth is an excellent way to add additional sponsorship to the event. Having the booth very visible in the expo are with excellent sponsorship signage is key
Location of Booth
If the booth isn’t next to the sponsors booth make sure it is very visible. Poor location can effect the number of attendees that will take advantage of the booth. Make sure the area is at minimum 10x10 feet and has access to both wifi and power.
Who is Getting Headshots
Is it all attendees? Only VIPs and sponsors, speakers and the like? Or everyone. An average headshot booth can reasonably handle 200 headshots in an 8 hour block —if you need more than that you will need to extend the headshot station hours (or days available) or add a second station.
Timing
In planning your event it’s best to begin the process early if adding a headshot station. Not only to secure the photographer but to get the needed sponsorship.
